There have been a handful of attempts at making 3-sided dice in the past, and most of them are really a squished and curved d4. This awesome d3 has an unique elegant design that allows you to simply read the number of notches on the side facing up. Designed by Nvenom8 and 3D printed with bronze-infused stainless steel, this is definitely the coolest d3 we've come across.

The d3 is much larger than standard dice, measuring around 38mm on the long side. Due to the size and design, these metal dice take a bit more force to roll, and we've found it works best to really getting it spinning coming out of your hand (or alternately, to spin it like a top on the long axis).
